Samuel is a member of Mike Hatchers Junior Dirt Track Club for five years. Hatchers club past members include motorbike champions such as Mick Doohan, Anthony West and Casey Stoner.
Sam commenced riding on a KTM Div 2 50cc auto bike when he was eight years old. He then progressed to geared bikes, and now is riding an 85 KTM bigwheel. Sam recently acquired his licence to ride in Junior 125 class where he will be riding on a KTM125.
2006 was a milestone year for Sam as he was awarded the Judy Gammin Perpetual trophy for Mike Hatchers Most Improved Rider, and won the 85 cc C Grade class and was second in the Big Wheel class. Samuel has recently competed in the Gold Coast Cup and is looking forward to competing in the Australian Junior Dirt Track in October 2007.
Samuel looks forward to a long career in Road racing and is excited by the challenge of racing the metrakit 80 cc GP bike and would be a great representative for any prospective sponsor. |
