Dylan started his racing career on minimoto’s at the age of 12. His first bike ever was an air cooled Chinese pocket bike which he received as a birthday present. Dylan has been competing since day one working his way up through the ranks to compete on European elite minimoto’s which has placed him on the podium week after week. Dylan’s achievements to date have seen him take out 1st place in the 2005 Qld titles in junior elite air cooled and 1st place in junior elite water cooled. After purchasing his Metrakit back in December 2005, Dylan has practiced, trained and competed on several tracks including Hidden Valley Raceway NT, QLD Raceway and Phillip Island GP Circuit to name a few. Dylan competed in the IV Metrakit World Festival held on the 16th and 17th December 2006 at the famous Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia Spain representing Australia. Dylan was entered into the RACC Calypso XL70cc class and competed against last years winner of the Metrakit World Festivals A group Miguel Oliveira and 2nd place podium champ of the Carrera XL Class Maverick Vanales, finishing in 14th position. Dylan’s focus is now on competing and winning the Australian Metrakit Championship on his Metrakit GP80XL Copa in order for him to be eligible for an invitation to compete in the 2007 Metrakit World Festival in Spain. |
